Photos at Christmas

Capture the atmospheric feel of your Christmas tree and decorations with these simple tips.
Avoid using flash when taking photos of your tree. The light from the flash can create hard shadows and removes the warm, festive mood created by your Christmas lights.
Instead, use a tripod or place your camera on a safe and solid surface - this could be a table or even a stack of heavy books. This will hold your camera steady and allow you to take photos without using flash - otherwise when taking photos in low-light conditions without a tripod your photos may be blurry.
Gadget Tip! Experiment taking close-up shots of your decorations using the macro feature on your camera. This will allow you to capture the special details on your tree!
